We practice from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) standpoint. We're less interested in labels or in figuring out what’s “broken”, preferring to work with you to find ways to shift processes to help you with your goals. We have experience in providing both brief and longer-term treatment that is evidence-based (i.e., shown to work). We try to help you within your timeframe. We see the psychologist and client both as “real people”, having “real” conversations, about “real life”, to make real changes that are really important to you.
Growth, connection, and caring contribution are some of the core, guiding values for us. They have led us to careers in which we work to support and care for people as they achieve their goals, using evidence-based treatments. We have been working with clients for over twenty years, and we engage in regular education to offer the latest treatments to our clients.
